A pair of well-carved snowy owls from Australian white crystal opals. The electric blue flashes and strong banding of opal with intense play-of-colour which suggests colour variation naturally found in bird feathers. The eyes are of cabochon rubies. The owls sit on the gold ramify branch. The branch is fixed on octagonal black onyx base which is decorated with golden band and four square-cut rubies.
