    Openwork gold "zarf" (cup holder) with a conical body and a conical base. The body, featuring an irregular upper rim, is decorated with oval medallions containing gold images of musical instruments set against colored enamel backgrounds. To the left and right of the medallions are openwork gold branches and polychrome enamel depictions of cornucopias and ribbons; a polychrome enamel band of holly runs along the lower rim. The stem of the zarf, featuring a serrated edge, is decorated with a holly leaf band, cornucopias, and medallions partially covered with polychrome enamel. The zarf is enclosed in its original red leather case with a hinged lid and a clasp. The interior of the case is lined with fabric.
