Jug with tray are made from rock crystal and decorated with oriental ornament of polychrome enamel over silver and gold. The jug stands on thin flared leg with narrow throat that ends with a shell-shaped spout. The jug body is decorated with colorful mesh of enamel arabesques over gold, mixing geometric, foliage and animal (parrots-shaped) patterns, the main enamel colors are blue, green and red. The exquisite rock crystal handle is decorated with small golden snake coiling around it and covered with translucent red enamel.
Round silver gilded tray is decorated with six medallions with blue-green enamel patterns, with round central aperture for installing the jug. The jug with the tray are in the authentic box.
This jug and the tray were presented at the Paris Universal exhibition of 1867.
