Oval gold snuffbox with a hinged lid. The body is decorated with rectangular reserves featuring musical trophies on matted background; between the reserves are rectangular inserts with foliate garland on the matted background. The lid and the bottom are decorated with oval medallions featuring musical trophies on the matted background. The rim of the lid is emphasized by a band of hanging garlands; The remaining space is filled with oval medallions containing floral rosettes.
