Round gold snuffbox is with a hinged lid. The surface of the snuffbox is inlaid with plates of banded agate and carnelian, forming ornamental patterns: a multi-petaled rosette and a braided pattern on the lid, a braided pattern with the frieze of intersecting keel-shaped arches on the body. The rim and lid edges are decorated with carved ornament forming a braided pattern.
