Silver rectangular cigarette case gilded inside with two compartments one is for cigarettes (large) and the other is for matches (small, on the front side), with two hinged covers. The upper lid is decorated with gold onlay artistically designed monograms, images of a diver, wine barrel, musical instrument, inserted precious stone, ornately shaped enamel shield with coats of arms of Vilnius and the noble family of the Ivashkevichs (?), with dates "XXV", "1889", "1914", and Cyrillic inscription. Dedicatory inscription in Cyrillic is on the shield inner side. Gold thumb ramp is adorned with oval sapphire cabochon in smooth bezel setting. Aperture for wick is in the rear cover.
