Gold  rectangular snuffbox, with rounded corners and a hinged lid. An oval plaque with the image of Frederiksborg Castle on the river bank is on the lid and dark blue enamel edging. The case is decorated with relief  foliage ornament of multi-coloured gold and rectangular guilloche plaques. Rectangular gold guilloche plaque with curly pattern is on the bottom, floral ornaments is on the bottom corners.
