Snuffbox in the form of a cartouche, with a hinged lid and a silver skeleton. Mythological scene with embossed gilded figures and colorful floral and fruit patterns are on the lid. The case is covered with white enamel and ornated with foliage patterns, embossed gilded figures and garlands. The image of the harbour and  two figures of merchants are on the case bottom. The lid inner surface is covered with blue enamel.
