Gold oval snuffbox with a hinged lid. Enamel medallion with the image of two lovers at the Altar of Love, Cupid and two white doves is on the lid. The medallion is framed with opal balls' belt, enamel blue peas and green leaves. The lateral sides are decorated with rectangular guilloche panels and covered with transparent violet enamel, framed by white enamel peas' belt, with stylized columns in between. The bottom is covered with transparent violet enamel over guilloche and decorated with foliate ornament.
