Silver rectangular snuffbox, gilded inside,  with rounded corners and a hinged lid with golden thumb ramp.  The snuffbox  surface is decorated with a foliage ornament comprised of thin spirally twisted shoots with small leaves and flower buds over niello background. The smooth thumb ramp is semi-oval. It is  decorated with "hatching".
