Silver octagonal snuffbox, gilded inside, with a hinged lid. The lid is decorated by a composition depicting a girl sitting under a tree in a gorgeous dress indicating to a Cupid hovering above the altar with a flowerpot. The cupid is holding an arrow in one hand and a heart in the other. A full-length image of a Cupid (?) against the background of architectural buildings construction is on the snuffbox bottom. The lid and bottom rims famed by a girdle of geometric ornament "spikelet". Lateral sides are adorned with the architectural landscape; carved crossed laurel branches are in the corners. All images are executed in niello; the background is slightly lowered and repoussed.
