    Silver rectangular snuffbox, gilded inside, with rounded corners, a hinged lid with a thumb ramp. The lid is decorated with allegorical niello composition over repousse background: "Миръ Европы 1814 Года" (Peace of 1814 Europe), pattered upon the engraving of Salvator Cardelli dated 1814, and depicting the Emperor Alexander I, giving the olive branch to Europe, personify by Empress Elizaveta Alekseevna. A double-headed eagle with two wreaths - oak and laurel, hovers above the figures. Niello images of military trophies - cannons, banners, spears, and drum are depicted on the bottom. The lid edges and the bottom are framed by niello geometric ornamentation.
