Gold rectangular cigarette case with rounded sides and corners, consisting of two equal halves, connected by a hinge, with a snap shutter. The smooth surface of the cigarette case is decorated with onlay details and inscriptions on the top cover - "ОТЪ КАДИ", "22.VII.1905", "Х", "22.VII.1915", horseshoe, the order of St. Stanislav (?), golden flag of the Russian Empire, supplemented with enamel and precious stones' inserts. Cyrillic engraved inscription is inside the cigarette case: “Какъ другъ даритъ // на память // Вар(е?) Баженовъ Кадя // 6.III.1905”. The lock button is decorated with an insert of sapphire-cabochon in smooth bezel setting.
Onlay details and inscriptions were, probably, added later, as indicated by the date "1915" and white-blue-red flag with black double-headed eagle on gold backgrownd in the upper left corner, representing the personification of the slogan "Unification of the Tsar with the Nation" that was created upon the initiative of the Emperor Nicholas II during the First World War in 1914.
