The case of the snuffbox is decorated with six miniatures, realized in the Neo-Classical style grisaille technique, in the manner of Pierre Marie Gault de Saint Germain. The miniature depicting girls in the chariot, Putti and angels is on the lid. The sides are decorated with miniatures featuring playing Putti; the base is decorated with the miniature depicting a girl writing on the shield "Amitie" and Putto.
