Illegible maker's mark in the form of a sun; two illegible, "2373"

Gold rectangular snuffbox with a thumb ramp and a hinged lid. A thin chased gold frame surrounds an oval plaque painted with polychrome enamel and depicting a stag hunt scene. The case is decorated with relief multi-coloured gold floral ornament on matte background. The bottom is ornated with rectangular gold guilloche panel with wavy ornament.
