Maker's mark in rectangular: "GW"; two cartwheels

Gold rectangular snuffbox with bevelled corners and a hinged lid. A rectangular plaque painted with polychrome enamels, with an image of Venus teasing Cupid, framed by blue enamel stripes is on the lid, with an ornament in the form of triangular chevrons, with gold ornament in the form of divergent rays. The lateral sides and the base are with a similar ornament, the corners are decorated with white classic urns in blue frame.
