Snuffbox made of dark ornamental stone, rectangular, with the hinged lid. Oval micro mosaic depicting a hen and a brood of chicks, framed by double-rimmed frame-smooth silver and chased gold is on the lid. The case is in silver, partially gilded, frame with the thumb ramp.
