Golden egg with the hinged upper part, covered with translucent white enamel moire pattern over guilloche. The upper part is decorated with octagonal star shaped onlay, with the central moon stone-cabochon surrounded by rays with diamonds that end with tassels and rubies-cabochons and alternate with garlands of laurel leaves. The case bottom part is decorated with gold onlays of two-coloured gold in the form of garlands with bows and rubies-cabochons in the center. The stem is covered with translucent bordeaux enamel over guilloche, it rests on round base that is covered with translucent white enamel over guilloche background and decorated with onlay flower heads with elongated leaves.
Golden vase with multicolour enamel flowers with rubies-cabochons centers is inside the egg. The upper part inner surface is upholstered with white velvet. In authentic beechwood box.
