    Silver cigarette case, gilded inside, with rounded sides and corners, comprised of two equal halves, connected by hinge, with snap shutter. The top and base with shaped conforming chased and engraved panels, with a simulated horizontal cigar tax band with Cyrillic inscriptions, front side with protruding push set release. The lid interior side with engraved inscription “Herrn // August Long //als // getreum // Mitanbeiten //von //A. Forsmann // 10 ter Januar // 1870-1880”. Silver button is in the snap shutter.
