Hallmarks on the inner side of the base: for the firm – “К.ФАБЕРЖЕ” under double-headed eagle – coat of arms of the Russian Empire, mark of the Supplier to the Imperial Court; triple hallmark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 – female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with silver fineness number “84” and the district code as the Greek letter “delta”; validation mark of the Moscow District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right with a dot behind the neck, enclosed in a circle; scratched inventory number “24116”. On the outer surface of the plinth (one of the sides, from below): for the firm – “КФ”; silver fineness number “88”.
Ovoid-shaped crystal vase, diamond-cut, featuring neoclassical silver mounts on the base and the rim. Ring-shaped rim mount is executed in the form of a stylized lictor’s fasces entwined with ribbons. Base of the vase, shaped as a short circular stem decorated with a rolled frieze depicting a laurel wreath band, rests on a quadrangular plinth with four feet in the form of lion paws. Vase is housed in its original fitted wooden case.
